Don't you love building a house. Here we were buying a modular house that ended up being our "dream" home and it is now ending up being the house that ATE NEW YORK. Delays I expected and with Mother Nature interfering with rain well guess what I got the delay. But now I got another shocker. I knew we were over budget and had a handle on it but spoke with the contractor and there is no way that the figure he quoted to me is the same that he quoted about a month ago. Like it's 20K off!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I need to sell my first born or something. What is it with contractors who seem to keep their own books. So I am upset and concerned and generally ticked off about the whole thing. Yeah I asked for a complete rundown OF ALL the figures but right now I am just to doggone upset and life is too short ya know.
